We want to travel by sea from Canada to Puerto Rico. Not a cruise.
Not looking for a cruise. We are considering buying a summer house in Puerto Rico. For many reasons it would make sense for us to travel there and back by sea, with our van and pets. Is this a possibility and what would such a voyage cost? We’re okay to leave from anywhere in Canada – probably each January to return end of April. How long does it take? There are two of us – one Canadian/Brit dual citizen, one Canadian US. Anyone’s help and advice will be much appreciated. We could also leave from Florida and the van is not a deal-breaker.

It doesn’t matter about the vehicle – the main thing is that we would like to get to PR by sea but we don’t want to go on a cruise. We could also leave from a Canadian east-coast port.
