Golf is a sport that is growing more and more popular with people across the world, now they are being given the opportunity to take this sport on holiday with them as well. However some of the best golf courses in the world can be difficult to find, so why not start in the place where these golf courses have become legendary, in South Africa.
- The Arabella Golf Course is rated as the number one golf course in the Western Cape. This course is situated at the Bot River Lagoon with stunningly beautiful surroundings. In order to understand how amazing this course is you need to visit it, however it does top the chart as one of the most difficult courses to handle in Africa. This is also a resort that celebrities enjoy visiting, even if just to have a relaxing time.
- Probably the most expensive course to play on and to stay at is the Pearl Valley Golf Course. Jack Nicklaus is responsible for designing and building this Golf course, in Cape Town, he wanted to add in some of the most incredible features of any golf course. This is by far one of the most underrated Golf courses in the world; it is also one of the most challenging if not the most in South Africa.
- Our last golf course that we are visiting is the Gary Player Country Club. Many professional and top golfers across the world, believe that this is probably the most challenging golf course in the world. The MDGT by Nebank, made this by far the most popular golf course in the whole of South Africa. Next we go to the leading resort in Africa, built in Sun City.
Golf holidays are on the rise, along with Diving holidays, especially Red Sea diving holidays; these are a complete alternative to Golfing holidays!
